lies.

Well its a good thing I decided to leave.

I brought up the point that they broke the contract in not giving me a place to live (and in doing so they owe me $500USD), and they asserted they didn't ever sign a contract.

Which is a blatant lie, since I would need a contract to get my Visa converted to a residency permit, a process they already started.

My bathroom hardcore flooded when i showered this morning. I've been told other people in the building haev leaking ceilings.

I can't wait to get out of here, this University has no idea what's going on.

I'll be on a plane at the earliest tomorrow morning, at the latest Friday morning.

I just got hit in the face with a flying ladybug, and I had squid on a stick for dinner last night. Like, a whole squid. It was awesome. I'm still going to miss China, just not this place.

I am confused. Are you counting being hit in the face with a lady bug as a good thing? :-)

Huh.

The bugs I've seen the most of here are mosquitoes EVERYWHERE (ugh) and gigantic dragonflys. Well...they are either dragonflys or rather small, fly flowing airplanes!

Glad you got your plane tickets!

Teaching in China is filled with pitfalls and unfortunately, you fell into one. I hope that you do not take it personally and that you are able to take away some positive things from you experience. And try not to blame Harbin because it really is a great place. It's just a shame that the administration at your school was too lazy to arrange everything for you and didn't care about it at all. Try to steal as much stuff as you can from them before you leave.
